About Our Curbside Junk Pickup Service
Curbside pickup is our lowest price — period. Stage your items on the driveway, at the curb, or anywhere outside and reachable, and you skip the in-home access charge entirely. Starting at our $95 minimum, it's the most affordable way to use Oak City Hauling anywhere in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and the Triangle. Outside ~20 miles our minimum pickup size increases (shown at the address step) — never a surcharge.
Here's how it works: book online, put your items out, and send us a photo (or just describe the pile). We confirm your price from the photo before the truck rolls. On pickup day, no one needs to be home — our crew loads everything you staged, sends you a completion photo, and you're done. It's junk removal that fits around your workday instead of interrupting it.
Curbside works for almost anything we normally haul: furniture, appliances, mattresses, boxed clutter, yard waste bags, electronics, and general junk. If an item is too heavy to stage yourself, no problem — that's what our full-service in-home pickup is for, and the posted access charge that covers it is shown right in the booking flow before you confirm.

Do I need to be home for curbside pickup?

Why is curbside cheaper than in-home pickup?
Because your items are already outside and reachable, we skip the in-home labor — so you skip the access charge. Move items to the driveway before we arrive and you're automatically at our lowest price.
What if some items are too heavy for me to move outside?
Leave them where they are and book a standard pickup instead — our crew hauls from anywhere in your home for a small posted access charge (garage/ground floor or stairs) that's shown before you confirm. You can even mix: stage what you can, and we'll grab the rest inside.
